How can we help you?

We believe the greatest human need is the ability to maintain relational connection with God and others.  The inability to have and keep healthy, intimate relationships can contribute to life’s problems, which often cause people to seek the assistance of a counselor.

How we work

Counseling

We provide both in-office and virtual counseling sessions

After an initial consultation, you and your therapist will create a personalized treatment plan to help you meet your goals.

Mini-Intensives

We offer the option of longer sessions to address underlying issues more quickly.

Mini-intensives are typically 3-hour or longer sessions.

The Accelerated Relational Care process helps people experience biblical principles for healing and growth, replacing unhealthy patterns and bringing hope and healing to broken relationships, wounded hearts, and damaged lives.

This accelerated approach often benefits those facing relational challenges involving anger, conflict, distrust, controlling behavior, and emotional disconnect.

Private Intensives

Private Intensives can be facilitated for an individual, couple, or family

  • Includes 16-30 hours of counseling

  • Private setting

  • Flexible scheduling

  • Affordability in mind

Private intensives provide a unique and individualized experience to care for and address your specific needs.  They are designed to help you embrace God's plan for healthy and joyful relationships as well as encourage and facilitate healing and restoration of relationships with God, self, and others.

Groups

We offer a variety of in-person and virtual groups on:

  • Emotional Regulation

  • Mindfulness

  • Parenting

  • Emotional Readiness for children

We offer a variety of training and process groups both in-person and virtually.  You can find links to current groups under the What We Do link on the menu above.

Specialties

Anxiety and Depression

  • Generalized Anxiety

  • Panic Attacks

  • Difficulty being alone with your thoughts

It is normal to experience worry at certain times in life.  However, when worry begins to interfere with your ability to focus, complete tasks or experience joy it may be helpful to identify triggers and develop skills to prevent anxious thoughts from overwhelming the mind.

Trauma Recovery

  • Relational

  • Spiritual

  • PTSD

  • Modalities: EMDR, ETT

Our counselors are trained to help you recover from trauma in a safe, comfortable environment in which you can experience spiritual and relational healing and learn how to live in the present instead of feeling trapped by your past.

Expressive Modalities

  • Sandtray

  • Expressive Arts

Sometimes talk therapy is not enough.  It can often be helpful to think in images, metaphors or adopt a different perspective in order to discover underlying meaning.  Expressive modalities can help engage right-brain processing when it is difficult to find the words to match our internal processing or when we realize words alone are not sufficient.

Spiritual Growth
  • Inner Healing

  • Immanuel Prayer

  • Spiritual Direction

For individuals, couples, or families, our biblically-based therapeutic approach provides a supportive environment in which to deepen your relationship with God.  This may include healing from hurts experienced within the church community.
